Way back in my law school student days, we studied the Calley/My Lai case in Criminal Law and I cited Warrant Officer Hugh Thompson's actions in support of my view that it was not the US policy to target innocent civilians, contrary to the impression that too many of my younger classmates held, thanks to the effort of the MSM and the left wing anti-war crowd.
Sadly, CW2 Thompson has died and Castle Argghhh! properly renders honors to a true hero - who stepped in to save lives.
What an example of doing the "right thing!"
Where do we get such men?
If the US Navy is looking for ship names, USS Hugh Thompson sounds pretty good to me.
