DARPA "New Concept for Air Warfare"

A DARPA top 10 video for 2015:

From March 2015.

Cool.

  1. Imposition of "assymetric costs" upon adversaries is a transparent suggestion that adversaries should either incur equivalent costs or risk combat inferiority. Most enemies have inevitably choose the cheaper alternative with perhaps an added launcher or two, if avalable.

Viewers must remember Sun Tzu's admonitions ("The Art of War"), particularly those relating to surprises and failures. In other words, all components of complex systems must function robustly or the need for a reliable backup (simply adept pilots who can be burdened) should not be underestimated.

Had not seen this DARPA video before. It is another very nice depiction of a "network of weapons systems" in a simulated air-to-ground strike.
