OPNAV has NOT done that for any small combatant. Whether that be a Cyclone Class PC replacement, or a true FAC(M) as the PHMs were, or any small vessel meant for direct combat. Or even the small combatants that Capt Hughes has proposed.<br /><br />One might observe a reluctance for the Navy to go "in harms way"?<br /><br />Or the problem is that the blue water Navy just can NOT bring itself to define a rqmt, period.
