For those who haven't been at sea with the strike groups, UNREP is still a pretty regular thing, since jet fuel, ammunition, food and other consumables still have to be restocked (the nuclear powered plane thing never quite worked out).<br /><br />I can see devloping small pilot refineries as research projects, but, as the article noted, that's probably more a DoE rather than a DoD/DoN area.<br /><br />ShadowAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
