Fast Acting Ferry Crews and the Ditched US Air Flight

One of the remarkable aspects of the ditching of the US Air flight from NY to Charlotte is how quickly the first ferry made it to the plane (plane appears at 2 minutes, first ferry enroute within 90 seconds and alongside within 3 minutes, 3 ferries on scene within 7 minutes) - surely, in addition to the pilot's skill at ditching his aircraft, this fast response saved lives. Well done, ferrymen!
