Thursday Reading

As always, Thursday Reading begins with Fred Fry's Maritime Monday 174 wherein Fred has photos from a Lithuanian shipyard and linkage galore that cover the waterfront.

Speaking of the waterfront, there seems to be some corruption in the agency meant to control corruption on the New York/New Jersey port area waterfront. Read all about it here. Things are not good when there are accusations like this:
. . . the inspector general alleged the director of audit and control often kept his door closed while running a private tax preparation business at work and accessing pornography on his office computer.
