Let's talk about what "uniform" means

Hey, doesn't "uniform" mean everyone looks the same? I count at least 6 different costumes (including the pilot hiding behind the 3-star)

Commander Second Fleet, Vice Adm. Mark Fitzgerald along with several other Sailors and Marines walk through the hurricane devastated city of New Orleans after visiting the amphibious transport dock ship USS Shreveport to thank Sailors for their contributions to relief efforts along the Gulf Coast.
Oh, one of them appears to be a Brit (behind the Marine general on the left of the photo, wearing the USS Tortuga ball cap).
