As I noted here, I have relatives in the Katrina damaged area. Today my sister was able to return to her home near Biloxi. Minor roof damage, some trees down. No power yet (but crews working hard to get it back). She got completely wiped out by an previous hurricane, so we are all relieved at the relatively minor harm.
Her office has power and she slept there to enjoy the air conditioning.
She has moved over to another office to help with disaster relief. Some of which was getting pay checks to her staff...
Thanks for any thoughts or prayers that may have been directed her way...let's work on the other residents of the area.
