Oh shut up! "Carter: White House Misled U.S. on Iraq"

Jimmy Carter, who couldn't find it within himself to declare war on Iran after the US embassy was seized on his watch should just stop his yapping about his conjectures.

Go back to the peanut farm, Jimmy.

UPDATE: Exactly on point (Hat tip: Instapundit).

And, in the interest of full frontal disclosure, I should note that Mr. Carter was mishandling his presidency when I resigned from active duty due to the horrid treatment the military was getting durring his administration. It was the first effort to turn the military into an agency for social experimentation. I remember distinctly that at one meeting some sailors were asking some policy questions of an assistant Secretary of Defense who told them that is they didn't like the way things were then they "should vote with their feet" and leave the service. They did and so did I.

I started my reserve affilation during the Reagan years. It was a night and day difference.
